I am under the spell of Hopewell Rocks. If I had to choose only one subject to paint it would definitely be these glorious rocks. "Sun Queen" is a glorious depiction of one of many incredible sunsets on that beautiful shore on the Bay of Fundy. The sun peeks behind one of the rocks as it is making its way towards the end of the day and dipping far behind the ocean line. The light is dimmed yet very present in this atmospheric and moody Canadian evening.
