This is my third painting of Pitcher Plants and I can honestly say, it is definitely not my last. This is the national flower of Newfoundland and I fell in love with its vivid colors and wildness from the first moment I spotted it during one of many hikes in Gros Morne, while visiting the province. It is definitely not the most delicate of flowers, given that it is carnivorous, but to me, that only adds to its fascinating charm.
