My first painting of the year 2019. I wanted to start the journey with a landscape that holds ocean and water, a subject that is always near and dear to me. So my choice fell on Cape Enrage, a place known for its jagged sea cliffs, tidal creeks and famous lighthouse. The contrast between the cool blue shades of the water and the warm tones of the rocks are beautifully represented under the distant but watchful gaze of the lighthouse, sitting firmly on its throne shimmering against the light of the sun.
