This piece is inspired by the Seacow Head Lighthouse in Prince Edward Island. There are so many elements in this scene that invite the eye to linger and the movement and energy are so palpable that it makes the heart race. There is an undeniable warm, fiery, powerful and vigorous life to this landscape. I have painted this lighthouse many, many times and each time has been a great pleasure. Many of these paintings have already found homes and I am hoping that this one will get to experience that as well...
