A rock cradled by a collection of twisted, gnarly trees in the dimmed, dark woodlands. The branches form a protective enclave that stretch to the gloomy sky. But through the leaves and twigs, a faint, pale but visible light appears. This painting holds a very special place in my heart. I painted with the wish that it would bring hope and optimism to anyone who is going through a difficult time.
