“CORONATION” is a grandiose and dramatic depiction of what sunbeams and clouds can do to a majestic tree that seems to be sitting on top of the world. The opening in the clouds to let the light shine through look like a crown about to be placed on the tree whose branches seem to be yearning for it and beckoning it to get closer. This painting was created with my love of trees, mountains and dramatic skies in mind. I couldn’t be more pleased with how it came out.
