Bats are misunderstood creatures. My goal behind this artwork is to show their vulnerability and gentleness. Therefore I chose a sleeping bat, dangling from a tree branch, its dreams represented by flowers and leaves blossoming all around it. Just like with every ballpoint pen drawing I create, I mix the effects of pointillism and strokes in order to achieve a detailed and dramatic effect.
