I am under the spell of Hopewell Rocks. If I had to choose only one subject to paint it would definitely be these glorious rocks. “Anchor of Recollection” is an atmospheric depiction of that beautiful shore on the Bay of Fundy. The soft low light suggests a time after the sun has already set, with its last glimmer peaking one last time through the horizon before the blue velvet night drapes the land under its glimmer of diamond stars.
